FAQ

Reformer Pilates FAQ

Everything you might want to know before your first class at NOVIX in Rowland Heights.

I've never done Pilates. Is NOVIX for me?

Yes. Classes are small, with only 7 reformers, so your instructor can coach every move at your pace. Many of our clients took their very first Pilates class with us.

What is reformer Pilates?

Reformer Pilates uses a sliding carriage with springs that add resistance. It builds strength through slow, controlled movement, so it's challenging without being high-impact.

How much is my first class?

$35, and your first pair of NOVIX grip socks is on us.

What should I wear?

Fitted clothes you can move in, so your instructor can see your form. Grip socks are required on the reformer. Your first pair is free.

Do I need grip socks?

Yes, for safety on the reformer. New clients get their first pair free with their first class.

How long is a class?

45 minutes.

How early should I arrive?

About 10 minutes before your first class, so we can set up your reformer and walk you through it.

How many people are in a class?

At most 7. That's on purpose: small classes mean real coaching.

What are your class times?

Monday to Friday: 5:30, 6:30, 7:30, 8:30, 9:30 and 10:30 am, and 5:30, 6:30, 7:30 and 8:30 pm. Saturday and Sunday: 8, 9, 10 and 11 am.

Which membership should I choose?

Founding 4x ($115/month) is about 1 class a week. Founding 8x ($219/month) is about 2 a week. Founding Unlimited ($289/month) is for 3 or more classes a week. Founding rates are available for a limited time, to a limited number of members.

Where are you, and where do I park?

18558 Gale Ave, Suite 260, Rowland Heights, CA 91748. There's on-site parking at Seasons Place plus underground parking, and an elevator and stairs up to Suite 260.
